To score an objective you must have a friendly unit within 3” of the CENTER of the objective marker.
No unit may score more than one table quarter or objective.
SPORTSMANSHIP
Players are assumed to get maximum scores on sportsmanship each round. If a player demonstrates abusive behavior, slow play, cheating etc., notify a tournament judge immediately. Players behaving in an inappropriate fashion will be docked points, asked to leave, or banned from future Warzone events.
At the end of the event players will be asked to vote for their favorite player, amongst the five opponents they faced.
ARMY APPEARANCE & SCORING
All armies must be fully painted (at least three color minimum) and WYSIWYG. Customization and creative modeling is encouraged as long as it is clear what the unit is supposed to represent. If in doubt, contact the tournament organizer by any of the means listed below.
Judges will score all players’ army’s appearance during the first and second lunch breaks, so leave them set up on the table until your army has been scored, against the following rubric:
All models are fully painted (Required) = 1 Point
All models are fully based = 1 Point
Basic details such as unit markings, decals on tanks, simple wash or highlights = 1 Point
Advanced details such as rank insignia, eyes, advanced shading = 1 Point
Really amazing work; advanced shading and weathering, freehand, creative customization, thematic bases, etc. = 1 Point
Most players should expect to get 3 of the 5 possible points
Favorite army: Players will be asked to vote for their favorite army at the end of the event. This includes things like overall paint job, army cohesiveness, display board, army theme, history, etc. This is a unique category and does not count toward the overall score.
